The Lord is my Strength...

I purchased my first set of "Unity Stamp Co."  stamps at CHA. I love how well they stamp. They are the red rubber with just the black foam backing. Then I put it to my acrylic blocks and it stamps beautifully. This is a different style of card for me but I love how it turned out.

Supplies & Instructions
Stamps: Unity Stamp Co - Devoted
Cricut Cartridge: Wild Card - button #45 - 4.5"
Chalk: Pebbles
Ink: Martha Stewart
       Color Box - White
Embossing Powder & Ink: Versa Mark Watermark Ink & Clear Embossing Powder
Glossy Accents
Pen - Sakura Gelly Roll - White Pen

I used several techniques for this card. The base of the card I stamped the butterflies with a Versa Mark watermark ink and then embossed it with clear embossing powder. Then I colored the butterflies with Chalk. The sentiment I stamped with a Color Box white ink. But since White ink has a hard time drying I embossed it with clear embossing powder. Then I stamped the trees, accented with chalk, cut out the tree on the front and accented the leaves with Glossy Accents.

Birthday Cupcake Card

A little boy is celebrating his 1st Birthday with a Cupcake themed party. So I made this card especially for him.

Supplies & Instructions:
Paper: All the paper is Core'dinations, except the white on the inside.
Cricut Cartridge: Sweet Treats - button #6 - 5.25"
Stamps: My Pink Stamper - Sweetest Cupcakes Stamp Set
Embossing Folder: Cuttlebug Seeing Spots
Embelishments: Stickles - Star Dust
                          Stazon - Ink
Sakura Gelly Roll - White Pen

Design Team

I am honored to announce that Robyn at My Pink Stamper has asked me to be on her design team for another term. I had so much fun last time, and I am looking forward to this team too.  I was able to get to know so many new people and challenge my crafting talent.

If you have tried out for a design team and wasn't chosen, DON'T GIVE UP! I tried out for several design teams and didn't make it. I know how discouraging it can be but keep your head up and keep trying.

Congratulations to my fellow Pink Stamper Design Team. I look forward to working with you and getting to know you better.

CHA Pictures & Projects

I got to go to CHA Supershow (a small section of the Transworld's jewelry, fashion & accessories show). It you went to it you understand what I mean by a small section. There will 3 small isles of booths. Last year was amazing because the whole convention floor was CHA. Oh well, I still made the most of it. I'll show you the fun I had, projects I made, and few of my favorite booths.

Wendy Russell from "She's Crafty" hosted a 15 min canvas crafting challenge. My crafting friend Edna and I were able to be in it. We had 15 minutes to decorate a canvas with the supplies on the table and share who we are going to give it to and why. It was alot of fun & great hanging out with Wendy.

 Edna, focused on her canvas

This is how my canvas turned out. I was trying to put my daughters names on it when I ran out of time. I plan to give it to my mom with a picture of my girls on it. She lives several hours away and doesn't get to see them very often. When I brought it home, my oldest daughter said it was beautiful.

This was an awesome project at another one of my favorite booths. It is a tag from
"Unity Stamp Company"

This was a fun card to make from "Raisin Boat"
I have to say I really liked this company. Have you ever wanted to rent stamps? Well they rent stamps just like you would Netflix. You pay a monthly fee to rent their stamps. You can then choose to buy that set or return it. I think it is an amazing idea and affordable too. Check out their website for more info.

Well I hope you enjoyed my trip to CHA with me. I had alot of fun making all these projects and getting to know these companies more.

Custom Wedding Album

Wedding Album Gift
I had a custom order for a 8"x8" Wedding Album. It made the perfect Wedding Gift. I tried to keep everything simple & elegant. So I used Black & White and accented it in Apple Red, which was their wedding color. All of the photo mats are 4.25" x 6.25" so that 4"x 6" photos will fit perfect in them. So all the Bride & Groom have to do is adhere there pictures & the album is complete. I am sorry for some glare on the pictures. I took the pictures while it was in the album so I could keep it all together. Scroll down to the bottom for the album details.

I hope you enjoyed this project. I was amazed I was able to complete this who album so quickly. By using pattern paper from one pack & accenting with Red & Black, keeping all the photo mats the same size, and the designs simple helped make this album simple & quick. Now I have all of these cuts saved on my Gypsy, so the next Wedding Album will be even simpler because it is already designed. This is a great way to make a personalized gift than a special couple will cherish for a lifetime. I even included adhesive squares for them to mount there pictures with.
