Sketch Book

Card Making & Scrapbooking Sketch Book

I wanted to make a Sketch Book that I could add & remove pages easily. I couldn't find what I was looking for so I made it. I started with 4x6 index cards. I used some lined ones & some blank ones. Once I start using it I will decide if I want the lined ones. I made it 4x6 so a card sketch can all most be real size. I didn't have a double hole punch so I adjusted my 3-hole punch. Use the middle hole punch & move a side into 3". So the holes are 3" apart and 1 1/2" from each edge of the card. To hold the book together I used 1" book rings. I have about 100 pages in my book.

Each divider is also cut at 4x6. The Tabs are cut at 2" from Fabulous Finds Cricut Cartridge. I designed it on my Gypsy & cut 3 tags with inserts in one color & 3 more tags with inserts in another color to alternate the colors of the 6 tags. To attach them I used a large eyelet.
The cover patterned paper is from K&Company. The butterfly I embellished with gel pens & stickles.
This is a real cute, simple, practical project for you to make. I can't wait to start sketching designs for cards and scrapbooking layouts.

Walmart, Stamps, Sketch Book

While most ladies can go to their local scrapbooking store to find the new Cricut Lite Cartridges.....I can't......I just when to mine & found that they won't be selling any Cricut products & most of the good scrapbooking supplies they won't be selling either. Just another reason I don't like my local Walmart.

On a brighter note. I just bought some clear CD cases to store all my clear stamps in.

I also bought some 4x6 index cards to make a book that I can keep my scrapbooking & card sketches in. I will post instructions for it when I complete it.

3rd Birthday Card

My daughter was celebrating her 3rd Birthday this month.
This is the fun card I made her.
I also made if for a color challenge but I was so busy that weekend with her party I wasn't able to submit it. So I wanted to make sure I shared it with you.
