My Pink Stamper 12 Days of Christmas - Video & Challenge

Robyn at My Pink Stamper is celebrating 12 Days of Christmas. The design team has made some special holiday projects & videos to share with you. Each day there is a new video and challenge for you to join. Check out all the fun at www.mypinkstamper.com

Nativity Card using Christmas Wishes Stamp Set

Card Instructions
Card Base: 10.5" x 5.25"
Emboss the front of the card using: Swiss Dots - Cuttlebug Embossing Folder
Cut the following out using a Cricut Machine and Paper Doll Dress Up Cricut Cartridge
Nativity - 3"
Sheep - 2.25"
Donkey - 2.25"
Camel - 2.25"
Manger - 2.5"
Baby Jesus - 2.5"
Cut the following out using a Cricut Machine and Christmas Cricut Cartridge
Star - 3.5"
After cutting out everything use a sanding block or ink to distress the edges so the whole image will appear better. I sanded Core'dinations paper because the core of the paper is another color so it creates a nice effect. On the other papers I used Tea Dye ink from PaperTrey Ink. Then I stamped "Silent Night" using My Pink Stamper's Christmas Wishes Stamp Set. The stamp paper can be adhearded to the inside of the Nativity Stable. I adhered all the pieces using Scotch Quick Dry adhesive & foam squares. You need a strong adhesive so the paper will stick to the embossed card base. Sorry when I shot my video of this card, my camera batteries weren't charged. So it died about 4 times, because I would charge them for about an hour and then film some more. So I'm sorry the video is a bit pieced together but most the details are there.

Autumn Card

Autumn Card
Since today was "World Card Making Day" I wanted to try make at least one card. We were gone most the day so I just got started once my girls went to bed. This card came together quickly and was alot of fun. I am not really into Halloween but I love Fall, however, I don't think I have ever made a Fall card. I normally focus on Christmas or other occasion cards. So here is what I came up with. I will probably turn it into a birthday card for my mom because it is this month.

This card was made completely from Paper Doll Dress Up Cricut Cartridge. The pumpkin was cut twice at 3". On the green layer I hid some of the face cuts on my Gypsy. The tree was cut at 3" also. Autumn was cut at 1". I inked everything with a dark brown Color Box Cat's Eye ink pad. It even made some shading on the tree. I enhanced some of the details with a brown glitter pen. I know the leaves are a little big for the size of tree I have but I really like them & I haven't used them on anything yet. I got the leaves from one of the craft stores a long time ago. But there are so many leaves found on different cartridges. Search "Leaf". I popped up the leaves and pumpkin to give it added dimension.

Cow's It Going?

My Pink Stamper just introduced her design time for the 2nd term with projects they made.
My Pink Stamper Challenge: Make something with a Critter or Animal Theme.
Since I don't own the Create A Critter Cartridge yet....I made my card using Paper Doll Dress Up. The Cow & Fence are Accessories to the Cowboy Doll.
Recipe:
Cricut Cartridges-
Paper Doll Dress Up:
fence- 2.3"
cow- 2.5"
Wild Card:
sun-3"
Supplies: Martha Stewart Opaque Markers- pink & white
Martha Stewart-ink melon (around the sun)
Pop up dots- cut in half for sun
My Pink Stamper Stamps- More Punny-licious
Peachy Keen Stamps- Basic Paper Doll Faces (eyes)
Glitter Glue-crystal (eyes & lips)
Distress Ink-tea dye (sponged on tan paper)

This cow is just one cut & doesn't have any layers so I cut it out in pink, white, and brown & made my own layers. Then I dressed it up with pink toes, ears, and lips. Accented with glitter glue & opaque markers. I didn't put the cow completely in the fence so all the details would show. The cow is poking it's head out of the fence.

Check out her lipgloss!

I asked my 1 1/2 yr old if she liked my cow & she said, "Moooooooooooooooo." I took that as a yes. This was a fun card to make & I hope to get the Create A Critter Cartridge to make more critter cards & layouts.
I also enjoyed using MPS stamps. This is the first time I got to use them.

Dad Card

Dad Card

Cartridges:
Plantin SchoolBook-Roly Poly- dad - about 1" and welded (on the gypsy)
Paper Doll Dress Up- Accessories 3- Car- 2.18"

Color Box Fluid Chalk Inkpad- Chestnut Roan-Cat's Eye

I really liked the cut of the car because it made inking it look good.
I bent the wheels out to ink the top and then I folded the car by the door to ink the car door.
Very cute car.
