My Pink Stamper Pink-alicious Blog Hop

To start at the beginning of the Pink-alicious Blog Hop start at mypinkstamper.com.
If you are coming from Helen's blog then you are on track.
This month we made something using the color black, along with our favorite color. I also used My Pink Stamper's NEW Sweet Baby Stamp Set. This is an amazing stamp set if you need to make any project for baby's or kids. I have loved using them & have made so many projects already.
To check out all My Pink Stamper stamps click HERE.

Supplies
Core'dinations Paper- Card Base is Black with Pink Core
Ribbon- Paper Studio
Border Punch- Martha Stewart
Cuttlebug- Swiss Dots Embossing Folder
Making Memories Sanding Block
Stazon Black Ink
Pen- Sakura White Gelly Roll Pen
Pink Flower Brads
My Pink Stamper Stamps- Sweet Baby
Pop Dots
Tissue Paper
ATG or tape adhesive
Stickles- Stardust

Cricut Cuts
Gypsy Wanderings
Decor Tag Function- button #1- 3"
Decor Tag Function- button #49- 2.25"
Mother's Day 2010
Baby Stroller- 2"

First, I started with the base card of 4.25" x 11". Then used the border punch along one bottom. Then embossed the dots with the cuttlebug. Stand the dots to show off the pink core. I love this paper because the outside is black and the inside is pink. Tie the ribbon into a bow around the card. Cut out the Cricut Cuts and embellish. For the accent of tissue paper I cut it as shown in the picture above.  Then I put 2 strips of my tape adhesive on it then began folding it randomly until it looked how I wanted. I hope you enjoyed this card and are inspired to create your own.

How about a Giveaway?

  1. Hi, I scrapbook for 6 niece's and 1 nephew. The Gypsy saves me a lot of time and saves from waisting a lot of paper too. I can use my designs over and over for each person I scrapbook for.

  18. I got my gypsy a few months ago and I don't know how I managed without it before. I love you can see exactly where something is going to be cut on the mat and the exact size. I also love the weld feature and that you can combine elements from more than one cartridge at a time. The Gypsy rocks!!!

Oh and I absolutely love your project. It is adorable. I am a new follower, I found you through Robyn's blog hop.

  19. Your card is just adorable. I simply could not live without my Gypsy. I travel alot and design for four different sites. I'd never get anything done if I didn't have the portability of taking my Gypsy everywhere I go. It's so nice to just be able to plug into my Cricut when I get home and cut away.

  21. I too love my gypsy. I cant imagine not having one! There are so many reasons why I find it helpful but the number one reason would be that it stores all the information from each of my cartridges into one portable location. If you don't have one...I suggest you go shopping for one!!

  27. Lovely card! I love the texture. I also LOVE my Gypsy because it's where I plan out all my paper cutting before I cut. This way I avoid tearing the paper because of the wrong blade depth. PC owes me because I've "sold" this little gadget to at least 3 people by showing them how I use mine. LOL-Really though-I love to use it. THANKS for the blog-hop, it's so much fun.

  28. Your card is wonderful and i love the tissue paper accent. Very original.

As for the gypsy, it's a must have for creating on the go, for using at swarms or meet-ups and for being able to customize how you want your cuts to look.

  34. I just got my Gypsy last month for my birthday and WOW... love it! Reasons I love it:
    1. I don't have to keep swapping out cartridges.
    2. I can lay out my paper on the mat and cut once.
    3. You save on paper since you can cut only the parts of the design you want.
    4. It is portable so I can design while in the carpool line.
    5. I can see what carts I own on my Gypsy.
    6. I can play with carts I don't own yet and make a wish list.
    7. I don't have to be near my computer to cut like with DS.

There are probably many more but those are what I have discovered in just 1 month of use.

    LOVE IT!!!

    ReplyDelete
  35. Oh, my gosh can I just tell you how much I love my gypsy!!!! I was able to score one when Michaels had them on sale for $49. This week, because of snow, I was able to load all of my cartridges on it and play.

I love being able to create ANYWHERE. I haven't taken it anywhere, yet, except around the house and even that is a HUGE plus. Having a gypsy has really opened up more doors for my cricut creating. I'm so glad I made the purchase!!!

Oh and I love this blog hop, too!!! :-D

  45. Well I just bought my gypsy online a few days ago and it's on it's way in the mail. I've heard so many good things about the gypsy and can't wait to experience everything that the gypsy has to offer. It's going to be so nice to design a card before I even get down to my craft room. Now I go down here then sit and look at my cartridges and wonder what I am going to do. This is going to make my crafting life So much easier having everything all together and being able to design on the go!!!

  47. I do not yet have a gypsy, but have seen it used a lot on My Pink Stamper and it looks easy to use and makes your cricut use way easier. I like the idea that you can use the gypsy to weld letters together to form a word instead of having to try to stick each letter on your card or layout separately.

  104. I just sold my Gypsy because I didnt have time to figure out how to use it but I sold it to my sister so she is going to figure it out and then by the time she does, I will probably find out that I actually need one (that is what everyone tells me anyway) and buy another one for myself. I do plan on borrowing hers in the meantime. :)

Miss Gypsy is a Must have for all cricut owners...I love that my gypsy stores ALL my cartridges in a one small handheld device, cuts images from different cartridges in one cut instead of having to stop and change each cartridge, the hide feature is a plus if you own any Peechy Keen stamps ;0) the welding is great for creating word mini albums, also if your not sure if you want to buy a specific cart., you can view all the images of any (ALL) Provo Craft cartridges before you decide you want to buy!!!! I can keep going but the list will never end!

  138. This card is gorgeous! We have two nieces who are expecting, so I may just have to borrow your design. : )

I received the Cricut and Gypsy for Christmas. My 10 year-old niece and I are having a great time crafting together. We’ve been inspired by and learned so much from your web site and others. Thank you for sharing your gift with us.

The Gypsy’s a great tool because you can use any shape to create a card. I created a large heart-shaped Valentine's Day card with the Gypsy using a heart from Tags, Bags, Boxes and More (free download for the Gypsy). I flipped the second image of the heart and welded the two hearts together (cut at 4", based on a large envelope I had). I used a decorative paper for the outside of the card, and I cut the same shape again on textured pink cardstock for the inside of the card. I used my ATG gun to adhere the pieces. The card was from my niece to her grandmother, so my niece decorated the card. She used a butterfly from Create-a-Critter for the front of the card; along with some heart-shaped embellishments she made using the Xyron sticker maker and red glitter. She then cut out a little girl using Everyday Paper Dolls to represent herself on the inside of the card, along with a heart-shaped jewel. The card turned out awesome, and we couldn't have done it without the Gypsy.

  140. I love the Gypsy because you can travel with it, you can use it in the card when riding along. I love it because you can plan and see what the project will look like before cutting it. I guess the most important reason why I like it is that you have your entire library with you when you go to someone's house for a scrap and they say you can use their Cricut. You have all your carts right with you.
