CHA Pictures & Projects

I got to go to CHA Supershow (a small section of the Transworld's jewelry, fashion & accessories show). It you went to it you understand what I mean by a small section. There will 3 small isles of booths. Last year was amazing because the whole convention floor was CHA. Oh well, I still made the most of it. I'll show you the fun I had, projects I made, and few of my favorite booths.

Beate John's demonstrates how to make cards with Spellbinders.

Wendy Russell from "She's Crafty" hosted a 15 min canvas crafting challenge. My crafting friend Edna and I were able to be in it. We had 15 minutes to decorate a canvas with the supplies on the table and share who we are going to give it to and why. It was alot of fun & great hanging out with Wendy.

 Edna, focused on her canvas

This is how my canvas turned out. I was trying to put my daughters names on it when I ran out of time. I plan to give it to my mom with a picture of my girls on it. She lives several hours away and doesn't get to see them very often. When I brought it home, my oldest daughter said it was beautiful.

"Lion Brand Yarn Company"

This was an awesome project at another one of my favorite booths. It is a tag from
"Unity Stamp Company"

This was a fun card to make from "Raisin Boat"
I have to say I really liked this company. Have you ever wanted to rent stamps? Well they rent stamps just like you would Netflix. You pay a monthly fee to rent their stamps. You can then choose to buy that set or return it. I think it is an amazing idea and affordable too. Check out their website for more info.

Well I hope you enjoyed my trip to CHA with me. I had alot of fun making all these projects and getting to know these companies more.

CHA fun this week

I am so excited and honored to be invited to a
Cricut Make & Greet today.
It will be so much fun to meet many others who are passionate about crafting like I am. I hope to make some lasting friendships.

Then I plan to attend the CHA Craft Supershow, Saturday morning.
CHA Craft Supershow has some changes this year. It is just a Section at the TransWorld's Jewelry, Fashion & Accessories Show. It takes place in Rosemont at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center. I am lucky to live about 1 hour away from it so I can drive in to enjoy the event. There will be many free make & takes. We will get to see the newest products from many leading Scrapbooking & Crafting Companies. For more information about the even click HERE. If you register to attend online then it is free to attend. If you register at the door then it is $5.

If anyone will be at the CHA Craft Supershow Saturday morning and wants to say hi, leave me a comment. So I am looking forward to an exciting week.

Pinkalicious Blog Hop

Summer Happy Birthday Card

Welcome to the Pinkalicous blog hop. This is the last month of our design team's term. I have had so much fun getting to know so many of you crafters. This has truly been such a great experience and it was such an honor to be on My Pink Stamper's design team. Look for many more MPS projects this month.

If you are coming from Julie-readysetstamp, then you are right on track. If not, then you can begin the Blog Hop at www.mypinkstamper.com.

This Happy Birthday Stamp comes from My Pink Stamper's Sweetest Cupcakes Stamp Set. It is such a cute stamp set. To see all of Robyn's amazing stamp sets, click HERE.

This card had a lot of layers. I layed it out on my gypsy so I knew exactly how large each cut would be and so I could put the exact about of paper on the mat. It takes some practice but each square equals an inch on the mat, so the more you work with it, the easier it gets.

I actually cut a clear piece of packaging from something for a top layer on the cup. I adhered it with vellum adhesive.

Supplies & Instructions
Simply Charmed Cricut Cartridge button #21
Lemonade - 3.5"
Lemon - 2"
The Glitter Stack - DCWV - Pattern Paper
Core'dination Paper - Plain Paper
Brads

To celebrate all the fun we have had, I want to give away a My Pink Stamper Spanish Sayings Stamp Set. For a chance to win, leave only one comment and tell me what your favorite type of project is to make.

Join us for this challenge after the blog hop at www.mypinkstamper.com. Make any type of project with a Summer Theme.

From here hop to Kassidy at inkingitupcrazy for more Pinkalicous fun.

I am excited that CHA is coming up in July. I will be helping at My Pink Stamper & Tammy Skinner's booth on Saturday, July 23rd. I would love to meet you if you are there. So stop by and say Hi to us. CHA is my favorite crafting event of the year. To see so many people to enjoy crafting like I do and ALL the crafting supplies in one location, is amazing!

Awesome time at CHA

CHA Chicago 2010
This is Karlee, Me & Robyn.
When I walked into the Convention Center I felt like I was dreaming. That many scrapbooking & crafting booths in one place! I was surrounded by people who had the same interests & passions as I do. Then I walked up to My Pink Stamper's booth & suddenly I couldn't speak. I really thought I was dreaming then.
It was awesome to meet Robyn & Karlee. I love following their blogs:
Then to be able to help with Robyn's worshops was so much fun!
75 people & 25 Cricut Expression Machines in one room!
Custom Crops was amazing at providing all the supplies we needed for the workshop. Cricut Machines, Cartridges, Mats, Adhesive & much more. Check out their website.

Robyn did an amazing job of teaching the projects, as always.

These were the amazing ladies I got to help with during the workshop.

Such a fun weekend & I met a lot of great people.
Now my creative juices are flowing & I want to create so many things.
