My Pinkalicious Blog Hop - November Scrapbook Page

Pinkalicious Blog Hop - November
Love Scrapbook Page using My Pink Stamper's "From the Heart" Stamp Set.

Welcome to the Pinkalicious Blog Hop. This is where all the My Pink Stamper Designers get to show off our projects using My Pink Stamper High Quality Photo Polymer Stamps. This month we wanted to show you how to use stamps on Scrapbook Pages or Mini Albums. If you are just starting to Hop, then go back to the beginning at Robyn (My Pink Stamper). If you have hopped here from Renee (RockinRenee) then you are in the right place.

I love how all these papers came together. The Striped Pattern paper is from a Christmas Paper Pack. It's amazing how you can pull different papers together to make a great layout.

I used border punches from EK Sucess to create a story book feel & accented it with We R Memory Keepers - Blue Lagoon - Baker's Twine.

Love is Cut from:
Sweethearts Cricut Cartridge
Button #3 at 2 1/2"

This is a beautiful stamp. I love how elegant "love story" is. This stamp set includes four different sized heart stamps. Great for accents anywhere.

Another elegant stamp. I've learn it is very simple to incorporate stamps into everyday scrapbooking.

The Couple is cut from:
Sweethearts Cricut Cartridge
Button #4 at 4"

From the Heart - Happily Ever After Card & GIVEAWAY till 4pm

Happily Ever After
My Pink Stamper just released new stamps sets last Friday.
For this Card I used her new "From the Heart" Stamp Set.
Check out all of the new stamp releases HERE.
Check out more projects using this stamp set HERE.

Supplies & Instructions
Cricut Cartridge: Sweethearts
Car - button #34 - Cut 3.5"
Stamp Set - My Pink Stamper - From the Heart
Twine
Stickles
Glossy Accents

I designed this card on my gypsy. There are alot of pieces and I wanted them different colors. So rather than cutting a lot of extra pieces that I didn't need to get several different colors, I hid the cuts I didn't want. Also I cut out the bumper with an exacto knife so that the black would show through it. So even though this is a detailed card, I tried to make it as simple as possible.

I have a GIVEAWAY going on UNTIL 4PM (CST) TODAY!
I am giving away a Digital Scrapbooking Program by My Memories.
Check out the Giveaway post, HERE.

Photo CD Case

Wedding Photo CD Case
I have a friend who is an amazing photographer. She is just getting started and she is teaching her self. Her Vintage style is simply amazing. You can check her Facebook or Website. She just started shooting for Weddings and her style is so unique. She wanted to give her customers their photo CD in a nice case. She found something similar to this CD Case on Etsy and wanted to know if I could make it for her. So this is what I came up with.

Supplies
Solid Paper: Black Cardstock, White Cardstock
Pattern Paper: GCD Studios - Cosette Collection - Simplicite
Ribbon - Satin - Mauve 5/8" from Michaels - cut 2 1/2' & 8" pieces
Cricut Cartridge: Sweethearts - Mr. & Mrs. - Shift Button #32 - Cut 3"
Adhesives: Score Tape, ATG, Scotch Quick Dry
Ink: Color Box Fluid Chalk Inkpad - Charcoal
Circle Cutting Tool - Creative Memories Custom Cutting System - Red Blade
Cardboard: from the back of my paper packs

Instructions
Base- cut black cardstock - 6" x 12"
Score base at 6"
CD folder- cut black cardstock - 5 3/4" x 5"
Cut circle out of CD folder with a Circle Cutter. Line up the bottom of the circle about 3 1/2" from the bottom of the CD folder and center it, then cut. Adhere the CD folder on the inside of the base with Score Tape around the 3 straight sides, as close to the edge as possible.
Cover - Cut from pattern paper - 5 3/4" x 11 3/4"
Fold in half.
Cut cardboard slightly smaller than the cover so it wont show.
Fold in half and crease with a bone folder.
Adhere Cardboard to Cover with ATG or strong adhesive.
Put Score Tape on the back of the 8" Ribbon and adhere to outside fold of the cover. Fold ends of ribbon on the inside.
Put ATG or strong adhesive on the base of the card across the length of the middle section but don't go all the way to the edge. Center long piece of ribbon in the middle of the base, length wise. Then I put a small strip of Score Tape over the ribbon about an 1" in from each side of the base to reinforce it.
Adhere the cover and base using ATG or strong adhesive.
Cut white cardstock - 3 1/2" x 3 1/2"
Ink the edges with the Charcol Ink
Cut the Mr. & Mrs. on the Cricut
Adhere the cut out with Scotch Quick Dry Adhesive
Adhere White Cardstock to front with ATG or strong adhesive.
I know that was alot of detailed instructions so if you have any questions feel free to ask.
I love how elegant this project turned out. By changing the type of pattern paper and ribbon it could be changed to fit anything theme.

Sorry I haven't been posting alot lately. I had to return my computer to get fixed so I won't have it for 2-4 weeks. So I will post from my husband's computer as I get a chance. I have so many projects I want to share with you. So more to come.

Custom Wedding Album

Wedding Album Gift
I had a custom order for a 8"x8" Wedding Album. It made the perfect Wedding Gift. I tried to keep everything simple & elegant. So I used Black & White and accented it in Apple Red, which was their wedding color. All of the photo mats are 4.25" x 6.25" so that 4"x 6" photos will fit perfect in them. So all the Bride & Groom have to do is adhere there pictures & the album is complete. I am sorry for some glare on the pictures. I took the pictures while it was in the album so I could keep it all together. Scroll down to the bottom for the album details.

I hope you enjoyed this project. I was amazed I was able to complete this who album so quickly. By using pattern paper from one pack & accenting with Red & Black, keeping all the photo mats the same size, and the designs simple helped make this album simple & quick. Now I have all of these cuts saved on my Gypsy, so the next Wedding Album will be even simpler because it is already designed. This is a great way to make a personalized gift than a special couple will cherish for a lifetime. I even included adhesive squares for them to mount there pictures with.

Valentine's Day is in a week and everyone at Fantabulous Cricut has decided to Share the Love!   Each Design Team member will be featuring an original Valentine-themed project that includes the word LOVE somewhere on it.

If you've come from visiting  Andrea at http://divinedomestic.blogspot.com, you're in the right place! If you've just happened across my blog and would like to play along with our Fantabulous Cricut Crawl, start HERE.

Make sure to check out each DT member's blog for some awesome inspiration! There will be PRIZES along the way at some of our DT members' blogs, AND there will be a Grand Prize up for grabs at FCCB for one participant that submits a "Share the Love" project at FCCB!
How fun is that?

For my project...

I curved this stamp on my block to stamp it around the circle.

I copied this cut 4 times on my gypsy. In each cut I hid some of the cuts using this button under the advanced tab on my gypsy. I cut the hair and shoes in brown, their shirts in white, the silhouette in a pale cream color, then his pants in brown and her skirt with a patterned pink paper. This is how I was able to cut out so many colors with out repeating the same cuts over and over. I LOVE MY GYPSY! I waited 2 months to get it replaced and I didn't know how to function and create without my GYPSY. Sometime I will do a post all about why it is a Must Have.

I shaded the cuts with my Copic Markers. I have only ever used them on white paper. I love how it made the card come to life and added detail by shading a bit. Then I gave her a stickle earing & ring.

Stamps
Love & Love is Life are both from My Pink Stamper's Love-alicious Stamp Set. These stamps are made from an amazing quality & stamp so clearly. She just released 10 new stamps sets. Check them out HERE.

Cuttlebug Embossing Folder-Swiss Dots
Pink Rhinestone Accents- Treasures by Shabby Chic
Core'dinations Paper
Making Memories Sanding Block
Stazon Black Ink

Instructions & Tips
Cut out all the cuts on the Cricut. I used Core'dination Paper for all of it. I love that paper because it cuts so well on the Cricut, it is textured, and it has a colored core inside. Sand the edges of the cuts. Score the Frame & Card Base down the middle. Emboss the base of the card with the Embossing folder. I embossed each side of it separately so it would fit and I wouldn't have any weird lines. Glue the Frame & Card Base together. Have them folded half way when you adhere them or it won't fold well. Line them up first because there is a right & wrong way. Glue the Couple down. Stamp, I'll always love you, on the heart. Just so you know. My Pink Stamper Stamps are an AMAZING quality. You can see how crisp & fine the stamp looks. They are some of the best stamps I have ever used. Yes, I had that opinion even before I was on this design team. Ok, back to the card. I used Stickles on the top right corner of the heart. It looks like a smudge in the picture. Pop up the heart & add rhinestones around the card. On the inside of the card I added a paper since it was embossed. I rounded two of the corners with a corner rounder to follow the shape of the card.
Thank you for reading this long post. I know it is very detailed, so I could share some tips with you.
I hope to do some videos soon to show all the details in my posts.
