Pinkalicious Blog Hop - Stamp Release

Have you heard...We've Mooved - Swing Card

Welcome to the Pinkalicious Blog Hop. To start at the beginning go to www.mypinkstamper.com
If you are coming from Chelle then you are right on track.

This is a fun Swing card I made using the Moo-ey Doodle Kit
It is called Swing card because the center of it swings back and forth to show each side.
I love how I made it into a card to inform people of a change of address. The inside there is enough room to put the address.

Supplies used are from the....

This is what will come in the Moo-ey Doodles Kit
It is exclusively sold at Shop Pumpkin Spice. To purchase your own kit click HERE.
I also used the Red & Yellow paper from the Yankee Doodles Kit.

Above is a diagram I created to see where to cut and score when making a swing card.
Feel free to copy & print this for your own personal use. If copying it for your blog please state the source and don't claim it as your own. I found a great Swing Card tutorial from Michelle's Rubber Room and got the details for my diagram from her. I also created a very detailed video that I made for another Swing Card I made. To see my other card and video click HERE.

Instructions & Supplies
Stamps: My Pink Stamper - Moo-ey Doodles
Pro Markers
Ink: My Pink Stamper - Texas Chocolate
Paper: from Moo-ey Doodles & Yankee Doodles Kits at Pumpkin Spice Shop
Foam Adhesive

Card Base: 5" x7"
Orange and Red Paper: 2 3/4" x 3 3/4"
Score: 2 3/4" and 4 1/4"
Draw guidelines with pencil and rule to know where to cut.
Then use an exacto knife and ruler to make the cuts.
Do not cut past the score lines.
OR
I like to score and then put the paper in my trimmer. Then line it up at 1" or 1 1/2" and then start my blade in 1" or 1 1/2" and stop where it's suppose to. I use the measurements on my trimmer to know when to start and stop cutting with the blade. Make sure to stop the blade and don't cut all the way through. Just see the diagram above when cutting and scoring.

Now on to the blog hop...
Next hop to Andrea to see another great project created with the Moo-ey Doodle Kit.

Swing Card for Card Swap

I participated in my first card swap. I received an awesome package yesterday with all the cards. I wanted to share with you the card I made. It was just a different color scheme for a swing card I made on a previous post.
Check out the instructions and a video HERE.

Guest Designer for Crafting with Cristina - Swing Card

I am so honored to be chosen as a Guest Designer for Crafting with Cristina. She inspires so many of us with techniques and videos. I love all the scrapbooking layouts she makes. If you haven't found her blog yet. Check it out HERE.

For this project I was challenged to make an interactive card. At first I wasn't sure what that meant. So I searched online and I found this awesome card called the Swing Card. This wasn't my idea. Swing cards can be found online. I found a great video tutorial at Michelle's Rubber Room. You can check out her video & design, but I am also going to share a video of how I made my card. I was so excited to shoot a video because I haven't done one in a while. Sorry, I was trying a new angle for my camera and cut out a few things, but I still included the important details.

Thank you for checking out my project today & I hope you enjoy. This is such a fun card to make.
