My Pink Stamper Oct. Blog Post

Ginger Bread Man Card Set

Welcome to the My Pink Stamper October Blog Post
I have a craft fair coming up so I wanted to make alot of Christmas Cards. So I am making several packages of cards. Each package will contain 6 cards that are all the same. The first package I made with a Ginger Bread Man because this was the perfect stamp for it.

If I make this card set again I think I will find something like a Viva Decor Pen to make all the details with. there were just too many little pieces.

Stamp from My Pink Stamper's Winter Treats & Sayings Stamp Set. This is a great Holiday Stamp Set with so many different sentiments to make the perfect card with. To check out all of the My Pink Stamper Stamps, click HERE.

I packaged 6 cards with envelopes in a plastic card box from PaperTrey Ink. It is so hard to take a picture of something shinny without getting a glare. But in person the plastic case makes these cards look even nicer.

I finished off the card box with this Tag and another great stamp from My Pink Stamper's Winter Treats & Sayings Stamp Set.

Supplies & Instructions
Cricut Cartridge: Winter Frolic
Ginger Bread Man - button #34 - Cut at 3.5"
Tag - button #34- Cut at 2.25"
PaperTrey Ink: Paper, Plastic Card Box, Twine
Cuttle Bug Embossing Folder
White Pen

Now I want to share something my 4 year old daughter made. I was so proud of her, that I wanted to share it with you.

She made this cute little Snowgirl on a sled with my Cricut, then Stamped with a My Pink Stamper Stamp, and of course she had to write her name at the top. (she is in pre-school)

My favorite part is that she asked to use my White pen. Then I watched her make foe stitch marks just like mommy does. I was so proud of her.

Then she wanted her picture with her project. So Cute!

My 2 year old's Birthday Party

 Birthday Party Decor

We celebrated my 2 yr old's Birthday with the family on Saturday. I wanted to make a banner but didn't have a pennant on any of my cartridges and didn't want to create a triangle one so I found this tag from Winter Frolic Cricut Cartridge. It is button 8 cut at width-5.35" x height 5.6". I embossed the bottom half with the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots. Then cut the white letters from Lyrical Letters Cricut Cartridge, Jumbo function at 3". I love that I was able to make a Birthday banner with what I had. If you don't have something, be creative with something you do have.

I made cupcakes for her birthday & wanted to try to make cupcake holders. These were cut from Sweet Treats Cricut Cartridge, button 10 at 7". The base of the holder ends up being about 2.5" I wasn't sure what size to make them & this was what I guessed. It left enough room to get the cupcake out without getting icing allover your fingers. I stamped them with My Pink Stamper Stamps:

These were fun to make & made the Birthday special. I can even use them over again next year.

Winter Warmies FCCB Challenge #42

Winter Warmies FCCB Challenge #42
Use some type of winter clothing/accessory on the project. At first I wasn't sure what I wanted to make & then I thought of this cute little beaver with the scarf. Then I wanted to make a card using the Smiley Cards. So this is what I designed.

The card base is from Smiley Cards. The outside layer is cut at 3.5" & the inside layer is cut at 3.25". Then I cut the tab off the inside layer. The patterned background was cut with Plantin SchoolBook at 4". I am not sure what size the blue layer to write on was. The beaver was cut from Winter Frolic at 2". Then I inked it & made details with a glitter gel pen. The Sentiment is from PaperTrey Ink -Daily Designs Sentiments. I hope you enjoyed this unique card design.
Join us at the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog (FCCB) and post your own Winter Warmie. Just include at least one Cricut cut & use some type of winter clothing or accessory on your project.

Merry Christmas - Sheep Card

Merry Christmas - Sheep Card
Winter Frolic Cricut Cartridge

Merry Chirstmas- Rub on - Fresh Paint Sentiment Transfers by Marcella by K&Company
Sheep- Border Function from Winter Frolic, cut at 2"
Brown Scallop - Border Function from Winter Frolic, button#20, cut at 1"
Star - Shift Border Function from Winter Frolic, button#44, cut at 2.18"
I only used the first star in that cut. I hid the other 2 on my gypsy but you can cut all three and just use the first one.
Star Dust Stickles on the star.
I used a hole punch to punch out eyes on the sheep's heads.

This is a simple card that went together quickly.

Wise Men Still Seek Him

Wise Men Still Seek Him

Here is a Christmas Card I made with Winter Frolic Cricut Cartridge an a stamp that someone gave me. I embossed the cream background with a cuttlebug embossing folder to give it some depth. I cut out the Shepherd at 2.5" but I cut off the sheep since it would not fit on this card. Baby Jesus and the star was cut at 1.04". I used stardust Stickles on the star and around baby Jesus. I used a sparkly orange gel pen around the straw and on the orange star to make it shimmer. The faces were from Peachy Keen Snow Cutie Face Stamps. I like how this card turned out and it was fun putting all the different cuts together. Lay them out first to figure out where you need to glue them. I had to peel mine apart several times until I got it right.

Christmas/Birthday Card

Christmas/Birthday Card
I make cards and sell them. Someone wanted a custom card made for a relative who has a birthday on Christmas. So this is what I came up with using Winter Frolic Cricut Cartridge and My Pink Stamper Family and Friends Stamp. I thought it turned out really cute.

A Gift For You

I made this for My Pink Stamper http://www.mypinkstamper.com/ challenge.
Challenge: Make a Winter card, scrapbook page, or other craft item with your Cricut and share it here on the Inlinz link. Everyone who enters one project will be in the drawing to win my NEW Winter Punnies stamp set! This project needs to be started AFTER I post this. Please do not post something that you have made previously. That is why we call it a challenge. LOL! I will close this challenge on Wednesday at 7:59 AM and announce the winner shortly thereafter. Good luck everyone!!

This week was my birthday so I went shopping at Joann Fabrics today! Lots of fun, until I ran out of money...but I got some great things. I got Summer Vacation and Winter Frolic Cricut Cartridges. I also got some more Cricut Mats & DCWV-The Green Stack. The background paper from that paper stack. It has great colors and cute animals like Create A Critter Cartridge has. Enough about my shopping trip & here is the recipe.

A Gift For You
Winter Frolic Cricut Cartridge
DCWV-The Green Stack Paper and scraps
Brown Ribbon
Brown Gel Pen
Star Dust-Stickles
Chestnut Roan-Color Box Ink (around trees)
Quick Stik- QuicKutz (helpful with all the little pieces)
Pop Dots

Tree Border - pg 44    cut 5.5" fit to length or 2"
Cut off the 2 left trees for the girl to stand on the snow
Color the tree trunks with the brown pen & ink the edges of the trees

Girl - pg 43      cut 2.5"
There are a lot of little pieces so I used the Quick Stik. It has a stick clay type time so I can pick it up and place it where I want to.
Some of the cuts had two colors in it. I didn't want to cut them out twice so I designed it on my Gypsy to see exactly where the paper needed to go on the mat.
Glue the coat on before the face. I didn't & I had to peel mine up.

Phrase - A Gift For You  pg 43    cut 2"

I can't wait to make more cards with Winter Frolic. It will be great for Christmas Cards. It has lots of great winter cuts and phrases, even tags. Oh, by the way. I didn't win the Cricut Imagine with my cartridge. The last chance to win the imagine is 8/31. Check out http://www.cricut.com/ for more details.

If you thought you might win something when you read the title of my post, well....when I reach 25 followers I will be giving away something. So just a few more to go.
